Research Overview

Dr Curtis'’ laboratory couples data-driven modeling with computationally-driven experimentation to address outstanding questions in cancer biology. In particular, her research exploits high-dimensional genomic data and population genetic approaches with a view to:

•Develop techniques for the systems-level analysis of genotype-phenotype associations

•Integrate multiple data types derived from sequencing and array-based technologies (genotype, copy number, mRNA and miRNA expression, and mutational profiles) to elucidate mechanisms of tumorigenesis

Interrogate intra-tumor heterogeneity and trace stem cell lineages using single cell genomic assays

•Delineate mechanisms of cancer progression and therapeutic resistance
