- Annual Research Appraisal (ARA) Form (All Programs)
After advancement to candidacy and beginning in the 3rd year of graduate studies, PhD student must meet with their dissertation committee and complete ARAs every spring semester. The ARA meeting is a working session between the student and his/her dissertation committee in which research results and problems are discussed. During this meeting student presents a research plan and timeline for the upcoming academic year. A satisfactory ARA is required of every student for every year in residence after advancement to candidacy. It is the student’s responsibility schedule and coordinate this meeting with the committee.
Submit completed ARA forms to the Graduate Program Office (KAM 409), no later than the last week of April.
